30 degrees and still snowing, wind still howling.....and my daughter is insisting that she is trick or treating this evening *SMH*

Sundrop, I understand completely. Mine went out last evening in the drizzling rain, 20mph winds and a wind chill in the 20's.( they only lasted an hour) I had to dress them in layers, because a coat with their costume was simply unacceptable! I felt like a Popsicle. Hope you stay warm, dry and have fun!! ( May the snow taper off a.s.a.p.) Also, my youngest leaves for a school camping trip tomorrow. I am trying to stay upbeat and happy and not let her know I am going to worry like the dickens! Ah, parenting does have its bittersweet moments huh?

I can usually figure out acronyms but had to look that one up. Google search came up with "shake my head"--is that right?

Yep, that's right.
Don't feel bad, when I asked my guy what it means, he actually shook his head.....lol

Breaking news this morning in our radio station was Sandy storm of course
I hope all stayed safe and sound. I've seen horrible pictures from NYC these
last days in our news. So many died again. Send prayers.

It's still snow on the ground but not much. Started to rain
yesterday and most melted away.Is very slippery outside and have to
walk very careful now. Came little snow today. Temp has been around -1C and zero.

Hope all is feeling well or getting better.

Starting to feel better... YAY! Can't sleep. Oops. I pretty much spent most of the past two days flat on my back. I guess I will be off in the corner with a cup of tea in my hands while I watch a David Attenborough Wildlife Special on Netflix. Polar bears!

*makes a cup of tea, finds one last sticky roll and an orange and heads off to watch the show*

Bit cold here today. So a stay in the house type day. A cup of coffee and then clean the house.

For the neighbour who doesn't go to bed until 0500, then drops her book out of bed later... I will be napping in the corner today while SHE tries to sleep. I'll be playing Bollywood movies all day today. I love the music so I will be sleeping like a baby.

*grabs a glass of warm milk and a couple of cookies and curls up in front of the TV in an out-of-the-way corner*
