I actually kind of thought about that. Things have been too nice here. I continue to have a lap full of cats right now. Fred is laying across my right arm and Pearl is on the left one. Typing is getting kinda hard here LOL.

Our biggest cat of four, Whitey (also affectionately called Fatbutt), has developed a new ploy to get attention. He jumps on my desk, lays down in front of my monitor, and licks my fingers as I'm trying to type.

Terrific Tuesday Tet!
For some reason my fuzzbuddy Pearl is totally crushing on me this morning. She is laying across my arm right now. She actually jumped up into my arms when I was making coffee. She's never done that before. I put her down after I caught her and kissed her little head then she jumped back up on me again. So I held her while I finished making me black coffee flavored black coffee. She's staring at me now as I type and purring like a buzz-saw. What's up with this kitty? I need to check the nip supply, maybe she's been tippling already. Gosh and it isn't even 8 a.m. yet.

Hey, Pats, I had a cat that would do that too! All I had to do was put out my arms and he, Chaz, would leap up right into them, then rub his chin across my chin. That was the best!!!!

Hi All! Just a quick pop-in today from me to check and see how we're all doing!! I am sending out all kinds of happy thoughts and good vibes to all who need them here at the SKMB!! I'm sad as today my sister flies back to her home in Texas. It's been a wonderful two weeks with her here but now she must depart........... I wish she could stay forever, but she can't. Maybe someday she will be able to come and live with me, we'll be old cranky folk together (well, at least I can do that, I've been practicing for years now!!) Anyhoo, we're off to grab a bite for lunch then it'll be time to go to the airport. Everyone have a great day and be good to all you meet!!!!!

Ah, when someone finally recognizes what side their bread is buttered on..or what cracker their sardine is smushed onto.. by their favorite human..tho I did catch up on "The Walking Dead" sunday eve,they had a midsummer catchup for what is in store this October..can cats be Zombies? Now that would be funny to see a cat lurching around acting all zombieish..

We had some nice cooling showers the past 24 hours! Not all at once, Ms. Spidey, thankfully.

Hey, Patricia! I have seen cats do the *Sleeping contently. Startle awake! Stare in a certain direction and....BOLT in the opposite direction.* I always look in the direction the cat looked at and leave the area if possible. I think they know or see something I/we don't!

In your case, I'm sure they just want a little extra loving from their favorite human.

Happy Hump Day, Tet! Well, the girl is back so....

I have been listening to that new album from Rush every day since it came out. It's just amazing - a story and music! It's like having both Uncle Stevie AND Rush rolled into one!
