Wow, Thursday already!
I hope everyone is well and having a nice week.
We've been having nice weather here, although it's really dry and we could use some rain.
I hate being so busy these days. I really miss spending all my time here on the board. I can't seem to catch up with what's going on!
Take care of yourselves out there!
Sending big hugs and lots of love.........
Oh please Linda stay safe from storms and everyone else too.
Weather is cloudy and cold today. Forecast says rain for the weekend. I feel sorry for all who graduate this weekend in my town if it's
happen to rain. But I work so no complain even if it's rain. Only 6C this morning when I woke up and maybe 10C now middle of the day.
I've wondering these last days why I sneeze all the time and my eyes and nose leaking ( and it's not flue/fever symptoms). They warned us this spring that it's much pollen in the air and people who usually don't get any allergic symptoms can even start to feel it. Need to take some medicine so I don't
have to sneeze all day long.
Take good care and be well everyone.
Be safe too.
((All in need or not))
Good Friday to all. New month-- June. Where is the time going?
Rain for me today. Remains warm.
Hot hebral tea in hand, book in other and off to bean bag central. All are welcome to join.
Have a safe and good weekend. Get some rest, MsMod!
Happy Friday!! Been a busy day here, took the kids to the library and got them signed up for the summer reading program, and loaded them up on books. Then we went and got groceries. It's been a while since I've had all 3 of them with me grocery shopping! I said no, no, not today, no, no, the whole time we were in the store. Now I'm tired!
Hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing weekend! Sending big hugs!
Hello, everybody! I had the overwhelming urge to come and say hello to everyone here because of a dream I had last night. In the dream, Stephen King was living in my neighborhood, and very friendly. He tended to hang out in his garage a lot, so when I'd walk by I'd see him working on something in there, usually hovering over sawhorses and doing sawing motions or screwing motions (meaning with a screwdriver, thank you). If he didn't turn around, I'd keep going. But if he happened to turn his head and see me, he'd smile and gesture for me to come sit for a while, and talk. He was usually smoking, and had a large, old-fashioned fridge with bumper stickers on the door, and it was stacked with nothing but beer. In the dream, I got it into my head that what we were doing was falling in love, that this neighborly chatting was full of hidden meaning, and I worked up the courage to tell him that I knew he was married, and so was I, but that I would love to be the Pear Blossom to his Wang Lung - which is hysterically funny for so many reasons, the most obvious being that I am not Asian or young, and SK is not Asian or old. My telephone rang, though, and interrupted the dream. Since it was only 4:30 a.m., I tried to go back to sleep to see what his reaction would be (hmmmm....), but slipped instead into a dream about failing to pack a lunch for my daughter's day at summer camp.
Okay, Ms. Mod, before you add my name to the "people to keep an eye on" list, I must confess that I had a similar dream a few weeks ago, but instead of Stephen King I was in love with Stanley Tucci.
On another note, please have a wonderful weekend, everybody.
