IMO, ALL of the Bachman books are down right fascinating, Regulators being my least favorite, but it needs a re-read.
I like all of the Bachman novels. So I guess I'll just tell you that my favorite is The Long Walk. The rest are pretty much equal for me after that one.
I haven't read all Bachman novel yet. But some of them. Long walk was one of the best. My least favorite was roadwork and running man.
The 4 Bachman novels that are collected in The Bachman books and Blaze are my favorites. The Regulators was my least favorite but I need a re-read on that one. That just happened to be the first Bachman book I ever read and after reading the others, I think I need to read that one again.
I also think Carrie could have been a Bachman novel. It has a similar tone to 3 of the 4 Bachman Book novels and that theme of a lone person vs the world. Even the 200 page (plus or minus) length of the novel is about the same as the Bachman book novels.
Read them all, then you tell us.
Welcome King!Theres no such thing as a worst Bachman (or King) for that matter. lol I really liked Long Walk,Running man (GOT to reread that one)and oh yeah if you read Regulators you gotta read Desperation cause its connected in a weird way...
I love the Bachman books, that dude rocks. Read 'em all.
Considering the time when they were written, I don't think it's fair to "rate" them...they are a fascinating series of tales from a young man just beginning to flex the beautiful muscle bewteen his ears...take them as that, and enjoy...
The only Bachman book I never really got into is The Regulators. That said, here's my "best to worst"
