Was the reference to the logger from Merameche in northern NB a mistake or poetic licence
...that poetic thing.....
Probably a mistake...I was always told it was "Miramichi", as in the lyrics to "Something to Sing About"...
"I have walked on the strand of the Grand Banks of Newfoundland Lazed on the ridge of the Miramichi Seen the waves tear and roar on the stone coast of Labrador Watched them roll back to the Great Northern Sea ..."
