    Default Hi everyone, and question...

I'm new here... only discovered this site when trying to find out about the new Dark Tower book, and just surfed on in...

I just read Pet Sematary (took me a long, long time to get round to reading that one, I know...)
    I loved it.

It seriously reminded me of a film I saw, probably in the early 80's. I have no idea of the films name, only that it consisted of 4 short stories, the last one of which was called 'Bobby' and told the tale of a Mother who had lost her son. One dark and stormy night she performs some ritual to bring him back to life. As often happen in these situations, messing around with forces that you cannot possibly understand usually means something goes a bit awry, and this was no different. After causing all sorts of mischief in the massive, spoooky house the lady lived in, this thing (who we all thought was the re-animated boy) walks down the stairs towards her, explaining that 'Bobby doesn't like you Mommy, so he sent me..." We see his 'unique' features for the first time, and realise that she is in a for a spot of trouble... The end.

Can anyone tell me the name of the film, and if you have seen it - were you also struck by the similarity between that and the Gage coming back to life part of Pet Sematary???

    Which came first...???
