    Whoa. WHOA.

So it's 1978, SK has published Carrie, Salem's Lot, and The Shining, and there's a movie of Carrie. AND HE'S DRIVING AN AMC MATADOR!?!?!?!?!

I know that it's important to the dude to be a regular guy, but no wonder he was writing serious horror stories, with a car like that.

Guaranteed, if I ever sell the paperback rights to a book for $200K (even in 2012 dollars), I will be driving something better than a Matador. ĦAy Caramba!

He's expanded his choices since then.

She had never read a single work by Sai King until she started dating me. I put her on to It and now she is working her way through them between her other regular fare. Her enjoyment of the book played a significant part of our honeymoon destination choice. I had told her often about the beauty of Maine, so the State was always high on the list. When it turned out our wedding would be in October and our honeymoon would include Halloween, it just seemed fate.
