Default Can it be called magic?

    Hi everyone,

I'm 28, I've just finished reading this book, and I'm crying like a rain...
Though still not too old, I'm forgetting my childhood a little too fast; but after started to read "It", my memories and feelings are returned much clearer and stronger (it's even more like being transferred there again! Sounds, scents, pictures - everything), and my dreams are back filled with long-lost imagination and colors... As it sounds pathetic, it's really true - this book shakes every little part of me, and truly make my life (for a longer time, I hope) different in a big positive way. Thanks to the sky, Stephen.

Any similar experiences or influences? For me, there's definitely some magic powder on every page...

There definitely is something magical in reading Stephen King's books, they have a strange life to them. Welcome to the board.

That's really what we can call magic, the books have this power... they just carry us through the time and space... and make us feel things that we never thought to feel someday.... *-*

Have you read The Body from Different Seasons? It's sure to bring back childhood memories as well.
I'm 51 and believe in magic now more than I used to, so yes, magic powder on every page is a great way to describe it.

I just read a part in On Writing where Sai King calls good writing just that . . . magic!

Thanks everyone, it's good that I'm not misinterpreted and that there are other people who feel the same! Yes, it's really not horror book, I sometimes had the feeling that IT is only a marginal character in the whole story...

No I'm not, thanks for the recommendation; if it's at least half as good as "It", I,m already preparing for another emotion attack
