I have just finished this book and i must say EEK. I think this book is personally better than the stand! It just blew me away and the last 200 pages were a non stop read. Anyway onto dark tower book 1-4![]()

I read Needful Things a year or two ago and agree - it's a great book. Welcome to the message boards and enjoy your journey toward the Dark Tower!
Thank you! I've read the first book already but i'm rereading to get back in the DT state of mind.
You didn't buy those books from a feller named Gaunt didja?![]()
Uh, yeah, I thought Needful Things was downright amaizing when I first read it.
It's certainly one of my all time favorites.
I read Neeful Things back in November or whatever for paperback and I still love it the 2nd time around.
I still think those two women with the Elvis items they're the most off the wall characters
I've just finished reading it, too, and I thought it was one of the best books I've every read. For a long time, I didn't go anywhere near Stephen King novels because I don't like horror stories. But then I read Rage and realised what a great storyteller he is. Needful Things is only the second of his novels that I've read and I've got a lot of catching up to do! The only part I thought was truly 'horror' was the expanding spider towards the end. I'm going to read Under The Dome next - can't wait!
