Yes, like many others have said... Christine is very tame compared to IT.
While it depends on the 12 year old, if the other books have been read, then Christine should not pose a particular problem
I read Christine when I was 12 years old and that is what started it all!
I agree with everyone here. I wish I would have been able to read Christine when I was 12! I had to sneak Nightmares and Dreamscapes out of my mom's closet when I was 13/14 and read a little bit here and there and then write down where I had left off! I'm not good at that kind of stuff so it wasn't as much fun as it sounds. Her keeping the books I was interested in away from me made me dislike reading for a long time. (Not blaming my mother here but...it is what it is.) So I'm glad to hear you are letting your son enjoy reading what he likes! Big kudos to you!
