Loved This Book!

I can't believe that after all these years, I finally got around to reading it. A nearby used bookstore was passing it off as a 1st edition, so I picked it up to add to my collection. I started reading it on Sunday PM, and by Monday PM, I hesitantly finished it off. I do recall seeing some of the movie several years ago, but wow, the book was a true page turner! Constant readers have probably dug this one for quite awhile, I was just late for the dance...............................................

Definitely a page turner, I love the Richie Ginelli character!!! A great read.

I suppose because I didn't want it to end. I sometimes do that with new books, it's kinda like savoring a fine wine (or beer,in my case).

Thinner was the first book by Stephen King that I ever read and I read it a few years ago when I was 12.I really did like it and I thought there was some funny parts - especially the end with the cherry pie,like when he was in the park or something when it was given to him and how his hand was cut and the pie opened or something (I don't really remember it too well).I think I'll read this again someday now that I'm older and I'll understand the story more.

(Beer. In my case, it's empty.) I saw Thinner and The Langoliers as TV movies and liking them long before being formally introduced to Stephen King, and so not realizing at the time he'd written them or whatever. I've read both of the books plus re-enjoyed the movies since. Such fun to find sK's been in my life long before I knew it.
