    Default 19

I have read the all the dark tower books and I am re reading again to see what I missed, but has anybody else seen key words like, nineteen, rose, and hidden highways in real life? I know it's coincidence but as soon as I started reading they have been everywhere.i just wanted to see if that happened to anyone else

It's known as Ka and being one with the Ka-Tet. Once you've taken the DT journey your life changes. The world becomes all things King.

    Hi,

Welcome to the MB, and keep pposting!

Aye, we call it 'kaincidence' round these parts.

Can I recommend Robin Furth's fine 'Concordance' and also Bev Vincent's 'The Road to the Dark Tower'?

    Long days and pleasant nights

The set of keys I always check out at work is #19. I get this set because I like the order the keys are on the ring, but it wasn't until recently I thought about the connection to the DT series. I also have a small rose garden beside the house.

That is so true, happened to me too. I see all things as relating to the Dark Tower.

I read my first King novel when I turned nineteen.

I knew not about the number at the time but the read changed my life.

yup theres lots of #19's, roses, crimson this & that, icky spiders/bugs with blueish eyes (strange never noticed that til I read the DT), and pale cold people that sparkle--no wait a minute! what was I thinking??? SPARKLE?! must be a meyers moment-hahahahaha. but yeah I tend to look for those things as I used to watch the background people in Hitchcock movies. Hitchcock was my first experience with watching for HIM in his own movies. Your refgerring to real life. and I admit to noticing those things too. Also never noticed any little red trucks til i bought mine. Its weird having to peek into 3 or4 little red trucks to find mine...and putting a tennis ball or scarf to the antenna dont help as everybody else has to copy that too.

I've tried that too, but the Warden is pissed that I keep trying to get HIS keys...
