reading It several times is not at all unusual for me, and I suspect not for many other members of this forum- who are all, by the way, so far as I can tell on short acquaintance, civil, classy, and intelligent folks. Nice place you got here- can I stay?

Haha, of course you can stay...not that you need our permission! I was simply asking you about IT as this is also my most read novel. I first read IT 21-years ago and have truly lost count of how many times I've read it since then. Every re~read is not only like visiting old friends, but also feels as if I'm reading a new book. If I were trapped on a desert island and could have one book to keep me company for all of eternity then IT would be that book. For me this book is a bit like George Denbrough's photo album...each time you turn the page something new may appear.

I am fairly sure they refer to this character when they had not met Mike yet, and he was just a "fake" 7th person to the losers club.
