I have many, probably most, of Stephen King's written works. I have just realized after decades of reading, not one I have is signed. Is there any means to find out about book signings or getting a book signed?

Hi Outlaw4. Just in case you were wondering, many top authors don't sign books delivered to their residences/offices, then return them via return mail, since they or their staffs would spend all of their time unpackaging and repackaging shipments to/from fans. I once emailed Anne Rice and asked, and that was her reply. I believe Mr. King has the same policy.
If you're willing to pay extra, check ebay for signed King books. I'm hoping to go to the signing in Alpharetta in a few weeks.
In years past when Steve spent the majority of his time in Bangor, he would sign books sent through the mail but stopped that about 6 or 7(?) years ago--possibly longer. The mail carriers hated coming to our office between the end of October and Christmas. We would have literally 5 or 6 plastic USPS tubs filled with books that Steve had signed (usually requested for gifts) going back out more days than not. It got to be too much between the time it took to do it for all of us and that he moves around between homes so much now and may not be here in Bangor (where the office is) to do any signing for months at a time so we had to say no more.
I'd be happy to sign it...probably not what yer lookin' fer though....![]()
I have one my niece signed, even added a smiley face after her name, but that's probably not what you want either.
Hope you find one some day
I'm right there with you....I have shelves and shelves of SK books and not one with his signature. But all that will change and I will have my first one added to the collection come evening time on the 14th....only and if Ka wills it
I would much rather have Mr. King sign with a paint-pen my Amazon Kindle. That would be cool.
