Default Mammoth Book of Best New Horror

I discovered Best New Horror about 2 years ago...then at Volume 20, I've since collected a few others in the series which I think is both high quality and very good value for money (most retail at about £8.99 over here in the UK) I just wondered...was anyone there from the start and have they collected all the volumes?

I've decided to start from the most recent and read backwards...

    I
ve never heard of this book.but if you started reading say the Stand from the last back to the first....what good would that do?? just saying that dont make sense to me either. who is the author of this series? I'd never ever consider reading any book or series of books from the latest to the first. to me thats like watching a movie in reverse

It's a horror anthology...so the idea is to take a look at how horror has developed over the last 20 or so years, but as I picked it up from the end I thought it would be a change to go back, maybe to see if it becomes more stripped back in the earlier volumes...I'm not in the habit of reading books back to front . It's edited by Stephen Jones and has featured Stephen King and Joe Hill a few times too.

Thanks! Some of the older one's seemed a bit harder to find...but with Christmas coming up I will start dropping a few hints I have a few of the Pan Horror Anthologies but they seem a bit of a mixed bag and seem to get more illiterate as the series goes on...
