Default The long and winding road to the Tower. **SPOILERS**

Think it's possible we'll ever find out what happens as Roland's quest has begun anew with the horn now in his posession? What will change? Will he finally achieve his goal and to what end? Will everything be saved, reborn, or total destruction?

Maybe we'll have another clue or two in the next installment.

I was thinking this same thing. Maybe a scene like the Tet sitting around the campfire, and Eddie says something like, "Hey Roland, what's the deal with that old horn in yer gunna sack? Get that off'n an dead Jazz musician or something?"

    That'd be cool.

I'm looking forward to reading DT 2-7. Read the first one twice. I just recently added all the current SK books to my library, except 11/22/63. Will be going to California to visit mom for Thanksgiving, and have a pile of books I'm thinking to take with me,since she will be working for most of the time I'll be there, so I willneed my books. So wish me luck, folks.

I'm good with it ending just the way it is...leaving us all to imagine whatever we want, but that being said, I'm so looking forward to the next DT book, and I would love it if Sai King heard, and answered the call again and again over the next, well, however many years, but to me, they don't have to answer any questions about what will happen now that Roland has the horn in his possession, I just want to hear as many more DT tales as Sai King sees fit to write. Whew. That was one long run-on sentence, which is exactly why I read and don't write books!

Nope, not a run on at all, stated brilliantly in my opinion. Just keep on writing as many DT books as you want Mr. King, the tales themselves are wonderful and just as good every time I read them. Long live Mr. King and long live Roland, say thankya.

The "change" is in your own imagination-he doesn't always have to draw us a word picture...

I've read the series seven times and have listened to it twice. Each time I get something new out of it. The fascinating thing about Sai King's (or is it the Maker's) writing is that he has the amazing ability to get into one's own thoughts, especialy as youths, and reveal secrets that we thought only we wondered and understood but were afraid or embarresed to share. His depth of character development and attention to the smallest details especially in the backround, can sometimes make for a long or arduous read, but it's also the quality that produces such a rich POV experience. I hope the Dark Tower will continue well past "The wind through the keyhole".
