Default Questions and Comments on 'Full Dark, No Stars'

I'm part of the way through the second story in this collection. I very much enjoy reading Stephen King from time to time. He's an outstanding writer. I always read to enjoy and also to learn more on the craft myself. I take my writing seriously. I want to always learn to be better.

I was particularly fascinated by Wilf's descent into madness...gradually: his bouts of seeing rats, his wife...gruesome but fascinating! I also appreciated the homework into learning the culture of the time period the story took place: farming, small communities, dealings with banks, etc.

I am now part of the way into the second story. It is very interesting how the choices we make can and often do result in very different outcomes!

You'll be amazed constantly then, if you allow yourself to be more than a "part-time" dweller on the threshold of the SK universe...

All the stories in Full Dark, No Stars are wonderful. I have to admit the first story was my favorite, but all of the stories are a testament of the darker side of human nature. And also SK has such a broad spectrum of stories, I'm still amazed of his stories after almost 30 years of reading his works. Happy reading.
