Default "Survivor Type": Dollar Baby Screenings (Blue Dusk Productions)

Hello, everyone. I just want to introduce myself. My name is Jayson Palmer. I'm lucky enough to be the screen writer/Producer for Mr. King's "Survivor type". This is an official noncommercial adaptation under his Dollar Baby program.

Our team secure the rights back in 2009 and finished this past summer. We are happy to announce that it has begun to hit the festival circuit.

Buenos Aires: November 6th, 2011 King on Screen Festival

Atlanta, GA: November 12th, 2011 Buried Alive Film Festival

Belgium: November 19th & 20th, 2011 Dollar Baby Film Festival

Our Website can be viewed here:

    www.SurvivorTypeFilm.com

Our Trailer can be viewed here:

I hope as many of you as possible can get a chance to see the film. Since festivals are the only way to view the film, we will regularly post updates with the festivals that we are screening at. I am very proud to be a part of this great team.

I will be updating this thread as other news becomes available.

    Thank you.

Thanks for checking out the trailer and the kind words. We worked hard on it and everyone involved made sure to stay as true to the characters and story as we could.

The running time is 29 minutes and 58 seconds.

    Hello again...

I have a slight correction to make...

The Dollar Baby Festival on Nov 19th/20th is in Belgium and NOT the Netherlands.

    Sorry about the mix-up.

I fixed that for you just in case someone didn't read your correction post.

Just wanted to give a plug to Toby Sells and "The Walking Dead".

Toby is one of the leading make-up artists on "The Walking Dead".

He is a very kind man. I was introduced to him through a friend after our FX guy backed out at the last minute. When we explained what we needed for "Survivor Type" and how much we had to spend ***hint: It wasn't a lot*** he explained his rates were much higher. Honestly what we needed for one scene was going to be more then our entire budget. But being the man he is and understanding where we were coming from, he really helped us out as much as he could. Just a real class act.

So, check out his work in "The Walking Dead". Also, he has worked on "Zombieland", "The Crazies" (remake) and "Big Momma's House 3" to name some of his recent stuff.

And hopefully you can all get to a screening to see the great job he did in "Survivor Type".
