Sitting alone in the dark watching

My first SK book was On Writing, and that got me hooked. My next was The Green Mile. Can't remember if I saw the movie or read the book first.

I also read The Green Mile in serial form. I still remember the wait between the volumes.
As is the case for so many of us, Carrie was my first SK book in the summer of long ago.

The Green Mile is an amazing story, on so many levels! Waiting for each installment was a little like waiting for the next Dark Tower book (but the wait was much shorter!) I thought the movie was excellent - well done, followed the story, great actors. A book to be read and reread, a movie to watch again and again!

I know I have said this 'afore but I thought the cinematic adaptation of The Green Mile was the best!!
