No thank you for that. I will try to remember that. Everything i've read by Richard Matheson is really good. I know King's a big fan of this guy as well.

I'm really glad that you told me that, because knowing me I'd get some wild hair up my a** later and attempt reading it. I'd have to say that the first 2 things on my scare/creep out list would be demons, followed by zombies. Ish!

Afraid I've only read one on the list, that being The Exorcist. Unfortunately, I've not read Danse Macabre, although I'm keeping my eyes open for a copy. Happy reading everyone!

    Long days and pleasant nights.

Danse Macabre becomes much more enjoyable if you read those ten novels first.

I finished DM a couple of weeks ago....a very interesting & informative book, I did enjoy it. I have not read any of the ten books that you listed, Sir Bachman, but I recently purchased The Exorcist, so I am looking forward to reading that one. How did you do on the quiz he gave us in Chapt. VI? I scored a 25...out of a 100... ....I only saw 8 of those movies...here I thought I was a great horror fanatic...But I'm glad I have a list of what books & movies to look for, if King recommends them, then I think they're worth checking out.

    Thankee,

Yeah, I know what you're referring to but I can't remember how I did on the quiz, I'll have to go back and check that out.

The novel was way more wicked than the movie; made creepier for me because I read it after I saw the movie and the Tubular Bells was going through my head the whole time.

And may you have twice the number.
