    Default eBook only?

Will Mile 81 be coming out in book form? I am all for ebooks. I think it is a wonderful idea, books are cheaper, and we are not killing so many trees. But, I can not afford one right now. I have been obsessed with Stephen King's work since 1985 when I read Carrie. I quickly read everything he had written, and would run out and buy the new books as soon as they were out. In between books I am jonesing for a new story. I am really sad that I can not read this story. Will it ever be available in another version?

You don't have to have an ereader to get the story. There are applications you can download so you can read it on a computer or any of the devices supported by e.g. the Kindle reader application.

I don't know if/when this will make it to print.

    Hi,

Welcome to the MB, and keep posting!

My bet is very much on the 'when' rather than the ''if'.

But the 'when' is a piece of string, so read it NOW IMO.

    Long days and pleasant nights

I'm not real computer savvy and wish I knew how to get this application to read this. This is killing me not being able to read this.

You'll still need to order the story, but here's the link to download the app that Kindle puts out.

I'm with you. I love the feel of turning actual pages. I've spent 8-10 hrs. a day on a computer since I was a teenager and first discovered technology. At 44 I'm still on the computer everyday. But reading something in print will always be my love. I even print my own books off the computer and read them on paper

Just to info effect, if you purchase Mile 81 in .epub format (for iPhone, iPod & iPad) you can read it on computer using Adobe Digital Edition, this software it's free.

I'm with you there Mark, ereaders are probably the only technological advancement I'm yet to embrace.
I'm no Luddite-far from it-but nothing will tempt me away from the good ol' paper or hardback.
Too long is spent in front of the pixelated word as it is,for me.
Plus,if I accidentally hydrate a book or drop it,the chances are it will remain in a readable state,
not so with the new medium.
No batteries required for the old method either.
