Question From Italy _ Help :)

    Hi all
There is a passage in "Low men in yellow coat" where Bobby is talking about his love for the robot tales.
He quotes Robbie - the robot from Forbidden Planet by Asimov - and then, after a few words, between brackets, we read that Sully used to call Isaac Asimov in a funny way. In Italian it sounds: Isaac AsiNov - ASINO is the italian for donkey.
But can you tell me the joke in the original version?
I am trying to imagine how could it be, but I don't find anything suitable.
Thank you so much in advance!

    hey morley! what say!

found that place, page 75 in my usa paperback version of the story. "Sully called this great writer Isaac Ass-Move, but of course Sully was almost totally ignorant about books."

Sully is playing on the ass-word, looks like to me, the ole derriere...podunk? latin maybe?
