    Default Dust Jacket Slip-Up

So I just got done reading Needful Things a couple days ago and loved it; the SK novels that deal with quirky/haunted/doomed towns are always really good IMO. But as I was going over the dustjacket, I noticed something quite odd. On the part covering the back cover of the book, there is a section describing how Castle Rock has been featured in other SK novels, The Dead Zone, The Dark Half, etc. But what was out of place was how The Tommyknockers was included in the list! I read it, did a doubletake, and was like, "Wtf The Tommyknockers was definitely NOT set in Castle Rock, but in Haven!" Anyone have an explanation for this? I know this is a really random thing to start a thread about, but I just felt like pointing it out

    release the hounds!

Heh! So I have this used HC of the story, right? Got it this year I think. I read the thread, go pull my copy off the shelf... And I like the Tommyknockers...think it's a real beetchin story. But my copy of NT doesn't have this thing you're talkin about.

So...was this like the 1st time you read NT? Great story, hey? I like the small town wars...the Baptists and the Catholics...as I recall....the Catholic Baptists. Remember that? Art Linkletter? He asks the little girl what she is..."a catholic-baptist".....Leland Gaunt....equals B. Obama...nice, hey, how I avoided the incorrect spelling of the Obama-meister's name? He a one "r" or two "r" Brack?

He makes sense as a Leland Gaunt...comes to town...doesn't accomplish ANYTHING...yet, he sets up shop. He is open for business. What's he selling? Greed. Envy. That has been and continues to be much of his appeal. Remains to be seen, you know, what will happen to Castle Rock...

The Tommyknockers were cheesed off-coz they kept getting left out of, as they say, "Those damnable 'Rock stories!", so they simply took over the mind of the editor and had at it...quite simple really...
