When I was in San Diego...late 70s this was...downtown...there was always someone shouting at the top of the their lungs. Took the bus the 1st time, from 32nd Street, downtown...as Petula Clarke sang...get off the bus...and it hits you...much as the humidity hits you once you debark say in Fort Meyers or locales south.

People going about their business...but this voice rebounding off the stone buildings...go-to-hell-a-schmiddia--

Too...right there in D.C. The White House. The gate over on the not-picaresque side of the big house...all the street people, camped out there, signs aplenty...it does not matter, nor has it ever mattered, nor will it EVER matter, what party holds the big house, the people will be there, signs for the reading....and so on and so forth....though I don't recall anyone shouting. Maybe that is against the law. Section 1, code 8, general welfare and hearing and so on.

Was in Baton Rouge, shortly after what's his face got caught with the whore at the airport Travel-lodge...I think the NSA caught him....the gobbment boys who listen to our talk, read out mail, know when we've been sleeping, etc etc...anyway, shortly after he got caught, they painted his golden gates black...like the song? I see a red door and I want to paint it black....

yeah, the catwalk....on the catwalk. Golden gate painted black...was that Falwell? Guy gets all weepy on public tv? Or was that Bill? After they made fun of big hair and trailer parks....a hate crime that went unpunished.
