I haven't been collecting the DT comics, but am seriously considering picking up the omnibus. Amazon has it listed for $94 and some change.
Would this be a good place for me to start? Or should I pick them up individually?

Grab the omnibus, it'll be a great start to the Marvel interpretation of King's epic work...I've collected them individually since the get-go, but you won't lose much if any content by going that way...or you could just purchase the hardback collections of each of the arcs-whatever is more finacially feasible and reasonable for you...it's well done IMO, and I think you'll like this "spin"...
I think you will enjoy and you won't be disappointed!
Hi,
I haven't actually seen the omnibus edition.
But I ass-u-me it's something not to be dropped on the foot.
Is it available for the i-pad or computers in general, does anybody know?
Long days and pleasant nights
From what I can find, it's only available as a hardcover.
I appreciate the responses.
Honestly, I've only been interested in the words of Sai King. Hence why I've stayed away from the funny books. But I might change that with the release of this omnibus.
Again, thanks for the replies!
Well, King has been involved with the comics; he hasn't been directly writing them, but he's contributed ideas and support, and it all carries his stamp of approval. So in that sense, they ARE his words.
I've got my issues with them here and there, but the artwork is frequently stunning, the background material by Robin Furth is pretty great, and I'd consider them compulsory reading for Tower junkies.
That does look great. I own the first three hardcover volumes, but this looks incredibly cool. But the comic series is still continuing, correct? So wouldn't it be smarter to wait until a collection of the entire series is released?
