I'm in the middle of reading Black House and in the middle of Chapter 18 I get to this point:
"The members of the Thunder Five separate and spreadout in front of Jack. Most of them have crossed their armson their chests, and muscles bulge.
Jack pushes his plate to the back of the bar, stands up,and says, “Before last night, had any of you guys ever heardof George Potter?”
From his perch on the edge of the pool table nearest to thefront door, Jack faces Beezer and Doc, who lean forwardon their bar stools. Kaiser Bill, one finger against his lipsand his head bowed, stands beside Beezer. Mouse liesstretched out on the second pool table, propping his headup with one hand. Banging his fists together and scowling,Sonny is pacing back and forth between the bar and thejukebox.
“You sure he didn’t say ‘Bleak House,’ like the Dickensnovel?” Mouse says. "
From this point on Jack and the Thunder 5 continue to discuss details about Charles Burnside and the Blackhouse that I don't think Jack ever told Beezer and the boys before. I mean I was listening to it on audiobook and thought something was wrong with the track layout. But when I got home I check my Ebook copy on my iPad and it read the same way.
Am I missing something? I even looked back to chapter 17 when Jack asked the boys to meet him at the Sandbar, he doesn't mention any of this information then either.
Its like a splinter in my mind...
