I was just wondering if anybody knows of any notoriously haunted hotel rooms in real life. Just for curious reasons.

Thanks for the post.
Don't know bout haunted, but there's a long list of em I'll never stay in again.
I watched a TV show about haunted places the other night which included mention of theThe Stanley Hotel. If you visit the link you will read, "...Stephen King got the idea for 'The Shining' after staying in room 217* in the almost empty hotel on the night before it closed for an extended period."
I wonder if Steve had any paranormal experiences himself, or if he heard any such stories from anyone else while staying there.

Hi Wick! I'm a Newbie, but after seeing your ?, thought you might want to know about the place I work at. It's called The Mineral Springs Mall nowadays, but until 1972 was The Mineral Springs Hotel. The place opened in 1914, and after working there for 10+ years, I'd say that it's very haunted. No in your face scares, just classic haunted stuff. It's all over the net, check it out! Oh yeah, it's in Alton,Il. B-Regards, Doug
