Default Does Ruth Receive The Letter?

I know it isn't mentioned in the story and I know it will only be opinions but I thought it would be worth thinking about.

Firstly, I loved the book. I have only read two SK books so far, being this and IT. I felt the book wasn't gripping throughout but the ending and the letter especially made up for this.

I know SK probably left the ending as it was for a reason, but I think its interesting to wonder whether Ruth received the letter? What happened after the letter being posted? Or even if it was posted for that matter?

SK felt it was important to mention that one of the UFO voices, Nora, had been dead for a while during Jessie's experience. Is this an indication to show that Ruth also could be dead, or simply just a key past figure for Jessie, who is not meant to be a part of her future life?

I don't know if SK has touched upon this anywhere, but just thought it would be interesting to hear everyone's views.

No, never felt Ruth was dead, and yes-I feel the letter was received...since you are still very new to "Kingworld", as you read on and become more familiar with his writing "devices" if you will, you'll see that letters, newspaper clippings, TV audio, radio etc. are all ways King advances or wraps up stories...and that just scratches the surface of the myriad of storytelling styles he employs...
