    King clearly IS a horror novelist. But that's not ALL he is; he's also a science-fiction novelist, a fantasy novelist, an essayist, a commentator, a screenwriter, an occasional poet, a lecturer, and a justifiably proud papa, amongst other things.

    Really, what's it matter what he's called? I think his career is kinda secure at this point; there's really no need to fret about it, or even to care.

    Stephen King is Stephen King....I've only seen him in costume in the few flicks I've caught him in...and I don't think he's been type-cast as yet....(although he plays a mean pizza delivery guy.)
