First off - Sorry if this should be in the Cujo section, mods.

As we know Cujo and Pet Semetary are in the same "universe" - confirmed by Jud early in Pet Semetary by mentioning Cujo as the St. Bernard going rabid, leading to no more pet Raccoons and such.
Something I've always wondered is what would happen if Cujo was buried in the Pet Semetary?
Would the Wendigo sense something in him after the rabies and cause him to come back evil like Hanratty's bull? Would he come back rabid and even harder to kill? Or would he come back cured as friendly, loving Cujo like the start of the book? Or something entirely differant altogether?

What do you guys think would happen?

never thought about it. i hope he would come back as he was in the beginning, a sweet loving member of the family. Big dogs seem to be getting a really bad rap lately. IMO, it's the little yappy ones you have to watch out for.

Sadly so - I'm a big supporter of "Blame the deed, not the breed." - It would be nice if he got a second chance, but I think the Wendigo may "catch on" if you will that he's killed before or something similar.

Not something I ever thought of before, but, if Creed came back evil, and Cujo wasn't actually evil, he had rabies that made him insane, then perhaps he would still be bad but this time actually evil. We are talking SK after all.
