    Default Cell Misprint

I was excited to pick up one of my first Stephen King novels: Cell. I was shocked and confused when I realized I was missing the title page, dedication page, etc. Also, I was missing pages 1 through 22. It does not appear the pages have been ripped out or tampered with, you can even see the glue. I was wondering if this is a major misprint, or what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

That copy was bound incorrectly. You should be able to get it replaced for a copy that has all the missing pages either from the retailer you purchased it from or the publisher.

My daughter bought a copy of Salem's Lot,(I don't loan my SK's), that had the first 25 pages in the wrong order. I thought it kinda made it more fun to read.

You should save it. According to Mr. Tower a misprint can be extremely valuable when it's in good condition .

I had the same thing happen with Song of Susannah only it was (approximately) page 75-100. It was quite distressing. They exchanged it at the store. No problem.
