They're both fantastic books - Eyes was one of the first King books I ever read way back in the day. The Stand is one of a few I would consider "must-read" King novels. If you decide to read The Stand, I would recommend you make sure you have one of the editions published after 1990. They released an expanded uncut version of the book that has like an extra 400 pages of development.
