    Default misprint or not?

Ive checked around online and I never came across my question, so I thought this would be the place to ask. Ive just started reading the Talisman and noticed on page 138 which is chapter 7 the beginning of part 8 is a misprint. In mid sentence it stops, then the number 8, and the sentence continues. Is this a common misprint?

Don't know. My page 138, USA paperback has the number 8 and below that "The Oatley Tunnel" I don't see any misprint in my copy...although, I wonder if it is one of those instances when a thought, or idea, or expression stops...as if the character or time or place has stopped and there's a scene shift....

I dunno. Sounds like something unique to your copy as I dunno what you are telling us. Heh! I'd read It a number of times, and there is a sequence out of que in that one, early on...mis-numbering, something like that.

whudduyah know, mine too. This is page 134. No misprint. Things like this happen with Sai King. Isn't there also one that the print either goes squiggly on the the last letter or two? Seems like that is the case, the story, I don't recall...or the print fades a bit?
