    I disagree...removing the 'spirit of the previous owner' thing really detracts from the story.

    Twas a good Carpenter movie.

    But a poor Stephen King adaptation.

    I have two scale model versions of CHRISTINE, too.

    As for the film? I could dig it. Definitely not as good as the book (which is my favorite King outing), but I still enjoyed it. Of course, I like nearly all of Carpy's films. And yes, that includes ESCAPE FROM LA and GHOSTS OF MARS. *gasp*
