Just finished Book 6 **SPOILERS**

I must say I loved Roland and Eddie's trip to Maine more anything. I loved loved loved them meeting sai Stephen King. It was such a genius way of writing himself into the story. Have to say that Susannah/Mia stuff was utter sick. I kept saying buy some clothes, change or something, bathe, clean yourself but nope. The birth was disgusting lol.

Did anyone like Roland and Rosa? I did. I thought Rosa was good for him and I said "aww" to when Roland said it felt good to be someone's man again.

About to start the last book. I just love love love love love Roland!

I also like the interactions between Roland and Stephen King, mostly for the level of disdain that Roland clearly has towards King. It was also interesting to see how Stephen King (the character) talked about writing the Gunslinger and his reluctance to carry on. I wonder often how much of Mr. King's true thoughts are there on paper coming from his character.

This has been a marathon, I've read the first six in under a month and plan to have the seventh finished in less than a week, I just want to get to the end and see what happens!

Yeah, and before I started the series I read 'Salems Lot in two days! My eyes are getting rather tired, but I am very interested to see how things work out before TWTTKH comes out in April.

Dan, sounds like me; I did the same marathon. I had to know how it ended! Since, I have gone back for two (or three) re-reads and I can't believe how much of the story I really missed.

Wow- now that's a speed reader. With each re-read I always manage to find one little tid- bit I'd missed before.
