Cat's eye was great fun and very cleaver how it wove teh stories together.
Not emaning to go off topic here but where is that thing with the knife from? I know he certainly isn't advertising bathrooms... with a knife in his mouth anyway![]()
Yes, it's the movie w/the Troll. It's a good one too! I bought me the DVD & I loved it! I like the beginning when Cujo is chasing the Cat(General) & they almost get ran over by Christine, that was cool!! & I watched it after finishing Night Shift, so I recognized the 2 stories right away.
I wish that Stephen would do another one like this one. It would be very interesting to see what he could do with this type of approach now. "Cat's Eye" had that rhythm and movement of the story to it; it didn't bog down very much, and I really liked that. This type of storytelling would be a great test of his skill as a professional writer. Then again, I know they are all really just that for a professional artist. But, at the same time, that can be a lot of fun, too
And Karen Black was great in that story...I forget the name of it. Someone's probably mentioned it, but I'm much too lazy to look back up there to see. The "little evil" voodoo doll with the really sharp knife...yeah that was great! And how they actually filmed it using the tracks was extremely interesting and entertaining to me when I was a kid. Scare me? Oh, you betcha'!![]()
