Question 1: Can someone explain to me Discordia and the Prim?

Question 2: How did Mia get in Susannah? I understand everything about Mia except this. (I understand the whole thing between Susannah and Roland and the demon)

These are my recollections made clearer with the aid of the Concordance:

Discordia is the badlands that Roland and Susannah have to travel through to get to the castle of the Crimson King. It's basically a horrible, poisoned landscape with very little or no life thriving.

On the edge of this region, where Roland and Susannah enter from, is Castle Discordia. The Castle at first seems to be just the imaginary place where Susannah thinks she is while in reality she is eating frogs in a swamp. Mia takes Susannah to Castle Discordia several times to palaver. The Castle is where Roland and Susannah end up after fleeing from Fedic.

My understanding is that the Prim is what the universe sprang forth from. The creative force of the universe, called Gan, came from the Prim and set the universe into motion once it emerged. Once the universe was formed, the Prim receded. All things good and evil therefore, have their roots in the Prim.

As for Mia, I think that when whatever happened in the speaking ring where Mordred was conceived - somehow Mia's spirit was also able to take up residence in Susannah's body, creating another divergent personality that was capable of taking over physical control of its host whenever it wished it.
