I've seen the book although I don't have one. I may or may not get one. I did not get one for Xmas, so now I have to decide if I want to buy it. I have several 1st Edition Hardcovers of the book and those will always mean more to me, particularly if I ever get one signed. While the collector in me wants the book, I don't need one. The art is good as far as art goes, but it doesn't look right. I really wish they had embraced the clown from Sai King's text over the one in the damn mini-series. I realize that nobody ever sees things exactly the same in their mind's eye but the differences are just too great for my consumption. I would be buying the book for the size, weight, and just to say I have it. If I had been in time to get a signed one there would have been no hesitation.

The book looks amazing but however the price is not And since i am all the way from Sweden the shipping of that book will prob cost me alot

Anyway if i am not completely out of place i thought Stephen didnt really like this "overpriced" books who was limited editions because he thought "rich" people were gonna buy the books and just have them on a bookshelf and never actually read them.

I might be wrong but somewhere in the back of my head i remember some interview about the limited edition of The Stand and how he did not really enjoyed the concept.

Well anyway happy reading for those of you who got a copy, i was actually looking forward to replace my old IT books since they are not in the best of shape, been reading them way to much i guess but i suppose that will have to wait for a while longer.

I have a gift edition and will be getting one more in a few weeks. It's an incredible looking package that does my favorite book justice! I'm a comic artist by trade and a book dealer is having me draw custom pictures in his 3 copies. I have included some images here from the scene I drew in the gift edition- my take on the refridgerator scene...I'll be doing a drawing in the limited, signed traycase copy tomorrow. I plan on doing a overlapping faces of each form it took for The Losers. Hope you like them- I am totally honored to be doing custom art in this book.

Thank you! LOL, that's just where I hope to find myself one day.

If you would like to see more, my site is inversepress.com and or my facebook site facebook.com/amandarachelsart
Would love to see your work as well!

Here's the next bit of art I did for the limited edition copy of IT. I have 2 more gift editions towork on after this...My buyer has left the content up to me as long as Pennywise is included. Any requests? I'm leaning toward doing one with Henry cowering under the ghost moon but not sure. I have a couple of days to decide.

    Hope you enjoy these!
