    Default The Gunslinger Born Hardcover

Hey all (or Hile, if it does ya)

I'm new to the forum, having just finished the DT books, after a few years reading them and staying away from all possible sites with spoilers etc.

I've just bought the Hardback version of the Gunslinger Born comics which includes 1-7 editions.

When i opened the cover, the comic opened upside down, so i removed the sleeve and found that on the actual book, the title is on the back cover and is upside down. Now have i stumbled upon a rare misprint, or is this a subtle reference to Calv Tower and his rare book obsessions?

I've been searching the internet trying to find an answer and have had no luck. Any ideas?

    Thankee-sai for your help!

I couldn't find anything either. I'd hang on to it though. I'll ask about it when I get back to work tomorrow. All my usual research places don't have listings for that particular misprint.

I have the hardcover and mine is not upside down. Dunno if it's rare or not.

Hile and well-met fellow pageslinger-I think what you have is just a plain old screw-up, but kinda cool and nifty nonetheless...

    Thankee everyone, much appreciated.

Does anyone think this would be of any value to a collector or a fan? I'd be happy to keep it, but it would probably get damaged over time, and if someone out there collects books that are misprinted then it may be worth then having it more than I. Although i would buy another version, just so i can keep the awesome comics! If you do think it may be worth something, how do i go about selling it? Take it into a comic store, or the internet if it does ya fine?

If you want to sell it, since I can't find a base line price anywhere it's a case of name your own price.
You could post it on ebay as an auction, I'd recommend starting the bidding off at somewhere between 20-30 bucks.
If you hang on to it it may accrue additional $ value, but then again it may not. Collectable books are a fickle bunch.
There are a few sites where you can set up an account as a bookseller, such as Amazon, Addall and Abebooks. I think ebay is your best bet though.
I'd avoid Craig's List, but that's just because that place gives me the creeps.
