About time for another new collection?

I realize that Just After Sunset and Full Dark, No Stars are both fairly recent, but it seems to me that Mr. King has really been publishing a lot of stories lately, even more than usual, as well as several poems. Am I right to suspect another collection by the end of 2012?

I think it would be cool if he did this one like Nightmares and Dreamscapes and include stories, poems, and essays side by side. Like this:

The Crate (from 1982, but collected last year as part of an anthology)

Throttle
Premium Harmony
Herman Wouk is Still Alive
Under the Weather

I'm not aware of any plans for another collection anytime soon. Chances are good that one will be done eventually, though.

It's most definitely time for another collection! I don't do the eBook thing, so I havn't had the opportunity to read most of his recent short story/novella material. I've read "Morality", "Herman Wouk is Still Alive" and "Under the Weather". That's it. I'm chomping at the bit to read the others! And hopefully they will throw in a few oldies that havn't been released, like "The Crate" and "The Blue Air Compressor"! I'll take anything, though. Anything!

You forgot "The Little Green God of Agony" and "Weeds"

Stephen said he wasn't comfortable of publishing his old uncollected stories, but I hope one or two old ones between 15 new ones in a collection is a fair deal, especially because a lot of us CRs haven't had the opportunity to read those old stories which were published in some obscure magazines decades ago.
In "Just After Sunset" this worked very well with "The Cat from Hell" if you ask me.

But 2012 is too early. Until now a new short stories collection was out every seven or so years, so I think we will have to wait a little bit more. I think so, but I hope not.

I don't think "Blockade Billy" would make it to the collection, though, since it got its own book.

'tis true ! a new collection would be most appreciated...seems lotsa new stories popping up here and there...and i'm sure there are some lost in the cobwebs of time, just waiting to crawl back out into the moonlight

It would definitely be nice to see all the short stories that haven't gotten their own release, bundled together. I mean, I understand the reason for including a new short story with a newly released paperback edition, or the digital edition, but it would be nice to see them put together in a hardcover edition, for those that don't want to spend additional money on a paperback or digital edition of a book they already own.
