Please, someone remind me--what is the "TR"?

The TR is the township. It's not incorporated, generally because there aren't many people and no towns of any size, so the area is recognized by TR-(insert number). I can't remember what the letters "TR" actually stand for ("Township/Range" or "Township, Rural" maybe?) but it's a real designation (although TR-90 is a King creation).

TR = Township Region followed by the number designated for that particular region.
