    Post Rainy Season

I just read this story yesterday and wow...what a suprise! I've heard of people saying "like this book even if it has rainy season in it" but I'd much rather it have it than not. I mean the description of the toads razor sharp needle teeth and bulging yellow eyes and how they just pour all over the place is just scary, original, and just plain eerie. The ending really made me cringe. What also adds the scare factor is that its just as ordinary as anything to the town of willow and if 2 people are devoured by these cold skinned carnivors, so be it. After all, it IS part of the ritual. mother nature has her revenge! -Lizzie K

Lmao! I bet you, you're right. Anything that ferocious and poisonous couldn't taste that well.

It very much reminded me of something like a Twilight Zone episode. I loved it.

I think all short stories He writes like these(original, captivating, story with a different feel than most) should win awards, should have won short story of the year.

yikes... I just re-read this one....

And it reminded me of why I started and never stopped reading our Mr. King.

It was laughs for me and --- horror and just the thought of killer toads!!

When I was reading, I asked someone.. What is the difference between Toad and Frog?? yea.. I got looks...
Try explaining this story who one that is not a long time fan!!
