question about the vision ralph has about natalie breaking her neck "spoilers"

on page 442 of insomnia ralph goes to the bathroom at the restaurant when he's with lois.
i dont get the part when he's washing his face and he see's natalie, "in a vacant lot between the bakery and the tanning salon..........." (that paragraph). he envisions her falling out of a second story window and breaking her neck during a game of tag. How is that at all relevant? would this have been the death of natalie if it wasn't for ralphs existence? wouldn't the kamikaze bomb have killed natalie then?

Atropos has his revenge by showing Ralph a glimpse of the not too distant future in which he claims the life of the innocent Natalie Deepneau. Ralph is able to counterbalance this however, by striking a deal with Clotho and Lachesis whereby he trades his own life for Natalie's.

the little girl who owned the jump rope was the one who fell out of the window and broke her neck, not Natalie. Ralph saw a vision of Atropos using that jump rope.. 'three-six-nine hon, the goose drank wine' is what the little girl would chant when jumping rope. we know that Natalie had a different fate which Ralph was able to bargain for, and change.
