desperation was the first stephen king book i ever read. I got it, hardcover, for 75 cents at a thrift store! its a great book and i would recommend reading it if you havent. im rereading it right now

I finished re-reading Desperation last week and it was good. I didn't even remember how good it was.

"Desperation" is in my top five favorite King novels.
I'd also recommend you follow it up with "The Regulators" since that's what I did, ha.
It's not as good as "Desperation" but still highly enjoyable.
