    Default Monsters like IT

Im looking for more novels with monsters along the lines of "IT" not the clown aspect but the cosmic otherness. Im aware of Lovecraft and the MYTHOS and a few others that kinda fit. Any tips would be great

I think many people could try to make something like IT, but what beats a creepy clown?

    Here's another one I just remembered: http://heightslibrary.org/wordpress/undeadrat/?p=1920

This one is really good, IMO.

For Cosmic Otherness, I recommend The Great God Pan by Arthur Machen, and a couple of his other books. Also... if you can find them... The House On The Borderland or The Night Lands by William Hope Hodgson. All of those are more Lovecrafty than Kingy...

    We all float down here.

Straub's Floating Dragon has The Dragon character in it who is very similar to Pennywise.
