    Default Victor Criss

On the first page of the chapter about Patrick Hockstetter, there is brief mention of an incident where a very frightened Victor Criss approaches the Losers, but no elaboration beyond that.

In the Wikipedia article for this book, in the description of Victor's character, it does elaborates on this, saying that he was getting scared of Henry Bowers' eroding sanity, and wanted to join the Losers, but decided not to and thus sealed his fate.

Now I know it is mentioned quite a bit that Victor was getting progressively more frightened of Henry, and I can imagine how this scene would've went down, but I do not remember it being elaborated on anywhere in the book. Did I just miss it?

Can someone tell me if this scene is actually played out somewhere in the novel, or did the Wikipedia article just do some educated guessing on how the scene would have played out?

    Thanks!!

Re-read the pursuit through the sewers...I think you'll find your answer there...

This might be one of the plotholes in the novel. I also read the part when Victor Criss approached the Losers, but nothing more - it's just a half sentence. Mr. King really should have wrote an extensive part about this. At other times, he wrote pages about irrelevant and bland stuff, which made me yawn, but this rather important part of the story was apparently left out for some reason.

Victor Criss' meeting with the Losers would be WAY more interesting than elaborating over Patty Uris' family story. But that's just me, I guess.
