Well, he did write the script for the first one but I'm not sure how much time he spent on-set as that was filmed just before I came to work here.

There could be things done right, and there definitely might be things that might go wrong with the remake. The original had a mood about it that most horror movies can't seem to capture any more. It's a shame, really.

I have a question! WHY????????? I like Aja, thought High Tension was awesome, but this remake trend is getting out of hand(hello Fright Night). Hey Hollywood, ever hear of overkill? For me personally, I highly enjoyed Pet Sematary the first time around, I'll just watch that again! FYI: There is a convention in Cincy called Horrorhound taking place in Nov and they're having a big PS cast reunion! Was going myself but now hoping to be in Dallas doing something else that same weekend!

I was just thinking the other day that I would really enjoy it if Pet Sematary was remade. Pet Sematary was the first Stephen King book that I ever read, and I really enjoyed reading the strong emotion and deep torment felt by the main character. However, I felt that the movie did a terrible job of conveying any sort of emotion, and just came off as cheesy and campy. I feel like a remake could really do the book the justice it deserves.
