I didn't see it when I was a kid. I actually just watched it a few months ago. It had some comical bits in it, and I loved the casting. Yes, I liked it and wish I had seen it when I was younger. Maybe I wouldn't have been so afraid of Freddy.

Thanks for the post! Didn't know it was a movie, but (odd as it may sound) was a cherished story from my childhood! Can't wait to try to find the movie version... altho we all know the movies are never as good as the written version!
