The broken record that I am, Stephen's non-fiction voice grabs me more than his fiction (although I adore that too). Hopefully we'll still get to hear that real voice occasionally. I will miss that.

In the long run the decision is probably better for his "real" work, as he can focus more on that rather than write about trivial day-to-day stuff.
Im really gonna miss his views and comments on popular culture. Also i liked to hear what he was watching or reading.
I think so, because some news will be called about EW.

I can understand if Stephen was finished with his time at EW. The traveling book signings, conversations and working with his publishers, employees, family...the IRS...keeping up with responsibilities, his accountant...the IRS...book writing, production, advertising and sales...the IRS...
Yeah, I can see where it might have been a bit much for him there. But, that's the way it is when you're a highly successful, prolific novelist loose out in the world, I suppose![]()
