Haven Area

I'm not sure if this goes here, as it concerns a few other books as well, but I first thought of the question while reading this book so I figured this would be a good place to start.

There seems to be a lot of alien and paranormal activity around the wooded area near Haven. We have the ship in this book and the towns of Derry and Ludlow are connected to these woods as well. Of course, It originally came from space and set up show under the spot of ground that would eventually be Derry. Aliens also show up in that area again in Dream Catcher. As for Ludlow, we all know about a very special plot of land just beyond the pet cometary that the Indians tended to avoid and that has, shall we say, unusual properties.

Do you think all this is connected in some way?

In sk's writings I exspect things to be connected. And I believe the more I read the more I connect things.
